Very Well Done. Straight to the heart without being sappy.
Tragically, Africa has done its worst to Africans. No outside interferrence needed. Even before the Arab raiders were selling captives into slavery - selling to the Portuguese and Dutch, the clans, tribes and nations of Africa were ruthless against their neighbors. Now they use AKs rather than spears.
What rips me most is that always the children suffer the most - starvation, disease, brutal death.
When I was younger, I saw and fought evil in S.E. Asia. the only way to stop evil is by control, at the muzzle of a gun. the ballot box comes later. You must be ready to scarify the earth where evil dwells. Today, that is not politically correct, we are supposed to talk to these monsters and persuade them to be nice.
These refugees need to redirect their efforts to forming an armed force to attack and take out evil. It will never happen with a paper ballot.

I liked the way you included interviews with the central figure along fellow citizens to the archive footage and finished off with a nice piece of authentic African music. It was a very compelling piece to watch.
