Grandma party

Grandma Party is a semi-annual bazaar for the people in Orlando. Artisans from all over gather in Stardust's (a tiny coffee/video shop) parking lot to buy, sell, and trade their goods. This video highlights some vendors at this year's event.

    • Loved your video. Do you know about the Vespa Go Green Video Challenge ?

      link

Submit a video about the economic and environmental benefits of scootering (save gas, reduce carbon emissions, reduce traffic congestion, etc.) and win a Vespa or other cool prizes. You should enter.

    • It is always good to know about events that give an opportunity for others to show their craft. Nice job documenting it and putting it together. GL from me.

When you get a chance, please check out my art related pod BIG BUGS , and let me know what you think about this reverse perspective on the world. Thanks!

    • Exactly what the video was about wasn't clear without reading the written description; probably adding it as a sort of title screen would improve the video immensely.

Other than that, I loved it! The people and things they're selling are interesting, the music and camera shots are amazing. Wonderful!

    • i liked it. You should give a little background before launching off. You mixed up the camera shots which was cool. Great music. I'm really happy the name of the place was Stardust not Starbucks. GL!

    • Interesting, you got my attention, two things would make the piece more than a scrapbook of the day though:
      1. tell what the event is, with an interview if ya got it, or with narration or a slate (txt on screen) if you don't got an interview. the description you wrote says much more than the piece does right now. and i'd rather know what i am watching after 30secs than hear the anecedote about the melting asphalt.
      2. get somebody maybe like Ryan Price (i think is his name) to talk about what's like at the grandma party, how they heard about it, you know, tell the event with someone's story...
rest should fall into place once you tell a slightly deeper aspect of this story...
      good luck!
