The Southlands Tunnel Vigil

Milty
This is a video of a protest held on March 20, 2007 at the proposed Southlands Hotel site in Bermuda. It was intended to show the length of a tunnel that is planned. A tunnel that is 400 feet long and that is part of a demolition plan of so much greenfield land.

    • yes you are right. I wish I had cutaways and things to demonstrate scale but to be honest i did not have time. It doesn't give you that sense. for the community here they got the sense of the size but for a video to be shown to outsiders, it does bot give you that sense.
      thanks for the advice.

    • I like the theatrics of the protest but I'm a little unclear after watching what the downside of the tunnel is. It is clear that people don't want it but I'm not sure why except for a small blurb in your text description about a demolition of greenfield land.

It's hard to get behind the story without knowing what the problem is.
