This is an ongoing universal problem; this is happening in Santa Fe, NM also. I like that it is being addressed in this way live as an exhibition and story.
What if we all partner and re-envision creating sustainable livelihoods for Artist , including healthcare, live-work space: Living well!!!
Check me out Artist Activist Creating Partnerships for Sustainable LIVELIHOODS FOR ARTISTS! Nova Cynthia Barker - 2 years ago

I would have liked to have seen more of the pieces from the show, and something like a "virtual tour" of the exhibition.

Isn't it a sad commentary on our culture of power and money that artists have seemingly been placed in the margins of value. Art is something that is considered at the end of the day after making investments and wars, but then...what happens when all the poetry and beauty is pushed away? I think Robin is unusually brave and generous to create this project. Had I not long since fled the Bay Area's insanely high cost of living, I would have been in attendence at the show, although saddened by what it represents in terms of personal and cultural loss.

I totally understand you guys. It seems to be that greed is just all there is that drives these guys. Ever. Also see current subprime crisis, same origin...

Smart, real issue. Nice juijitsu flip of the bad to the good--and the making of the pod of it.
Fuck the rich artless asses!

Interesting topic and well done, some music and some quicker editing would really make it move and seem like a more pressing issue. This is a serious issue facing many communities, it is like a brain drain, but with artists, I saw it happening in Venice Beach as well where the people who make Venice Venice were being forced out.
