    • Yes - the music is too melodramatic...because it is about movie star, it´s kind of film music. 10 years boy is desperately in love with a movie star...imagine that. I still remember when I was in love with a movie star at 10...big melodrama, lot of "movie" dreams :-) That´s why.

    • it was cute, but needs to be shorter. Tighen up the edits where she is asking the kid questions about why he doesn't want to go out w/ his friends...

    • See this is one of those sharp ad ideas! Very clever! Please don't let this go to waste, edit it into the TV-ready length! (lots could be taken out from the beginning to "I want to be him!") Let me know when version #2 is up! GL GL

    • Very nice, made me laugh out loud! It was cast very well (the young boy was great!), although it could have been a tad shorter and still gotten the "punch line" across.

    • Very touching. She is absolutely beautiful and he is a good damn actor... funny too. Her voice is too low in the first half or wide shot. Perhaps lower the music or just raise her volume.

    • In my opinion you should have stuck within the 30-45 sec range. Even though we're on the internet, you've got to remember that people would rather not be watching advertisements, so it's best to keep it simple and to the point. I was bored. RL from me.

    • Hi all, thanx for your reactions. I know that ads are normally much shorter - but here we are on internet, not on air with all old broadcasting limits. The only reason for me to cut this again is if you are bored by the lenghth - then it makes sense (or if it should go on air, of course). Otherwise - we are in much different media then classic TV, so I don´t feel to be bound by classic rules. Many thanx for support!

    • I like the concept, I LOVE the kid and the Mom is go-geous. The kid wants to be the old man, I want to be the kid's best friend! My sewer of a mind aside, it's a sweet ad. The only reason I could (and did) redlight this ad is the length. Ads are rarely, if ever, a minute fifteen. There's no reason you can't tighten this up to a minute, possibly even 30 seconds. If you believe it can air beyond Current, shoot for the industry norms when it comes to length. Slim it down and re-submit before the deadline. It's worth re-working! Nice job and good luck.

    • So Neghie,
Why did you REDLIGHT this entry?
If you're going to do that please tell us all why rather than a comment like 'What?!'

    • I'm haoppy to be your first GL here. Wow! You should be doing features! Nice work. Felt just like a blockbuster movie. With commercials like these, viewers wouldn't know it was a commercial until it was too late :) Now...go make a movie!
