Orange Growers Feel The Squeeze

Florida is in a two year drought. It's one of the worst in state history and it's threatening local crops. According to the US Department of Agriculture, oranges are the smallest they have ever been because of the drought. Follow an orange farmer into the grove to get a closer look at the problem.

    • If you noticed their was a larger-than-expected Florida orange crop, favorable growing conditions with no storm damage, and weakening retail sales for the drop in orange http://www.halegroves.com futures. Juice inventories are expected to grow in the current 2008-09 season as the large crop and slowing sales more than offset a decline in imports.

      Everyone is hurting in the Florida market right now.
