Good job in following your subject into her daily life and getting shots of many aspects of it. That created wonderful movement, which connected to your editing to form a powerful short POD. The conflict and interest is very relevant, I like the issue with her family tied in and how she has changed as a student. This is an excellent short character based POD. If you were to add another minute on the conflict perhaps it would further improve the impact. Still, I see alot of work put into this POD, and the result has a very professional look to it. Keep it up.

What I'd like to see is a development of the family conflict. Why is the problem not so much that she's converted but that she's converted to Islam? What perceptions exist amongst her family that effect their understanding of Islam? Has she told the whole family yet? Dig into this part of the story a little bit more because it's one of the driving forces behind this pod.

i agree. i wanted to make it longer, but it was initially made for a TV class and 2 minutes was the limit. if people are interested in what's going on with laura right now, or what happened after she told her parents, i might think of doing a follow-up..
