Motherload of Trophies

Old trophies, boy scout badges and photographs are among the relics scattered throughout the rooms and grounds, off Highway 49 in Hopson, Mississippi.
People journey to the inn from all over the world to troll through things most would discard. Some are there to reconnect with their culture, while others come from afar in search of something authentic.

Makes me think of "This American Life." Nothing better than seeing stories about real people. Great storytelling here, cool music.

I was raised in San Francisco in a family that never threw any thing away that may be valuable someday. The memories are in those old relics from the area of SF, back to the gold rush of 1849. These are items that are living history, this delivers that theme triple fold.
Visual is so more alive than a photo in a book. Keep up the good display of American history in the south. This story was great! - 4 years ago

i'm from mississippi! and it's great to see awesome documentation of its relics (that are obviously kinda alive and kickin') - old and shacks and fields and busted up cars and tractors are priceless footage...
i love this!
i could see it being cut down to five or six minutes and then it would be even better, but obviously the people are into it...

I really enjoyed this. In fact, I've bookmarked it because I'd love to stay in that inn.
The only advice I'd give is to cut it down a little bit. It's just a little long in some parts. Overall though, wonderful wonderful pod I hope it makes it to air.

I have some stereoscopic viewfinder slides, but no viewfinder. The slides date back to 1898.
People will like this pod because it's nostalgia. Everyone likes to feel that their past is important, and this pod will reach out to them. It was well done, and I like the music as well. Good job!

As someone whose first car (a 1953 Straight 8 Buick Roadmaster) was purchased for a case of beer, and for someone whose roots are in the south, this was like stopping by my cousin's house and sittin' a spell. It also makes me feel better about all the junk I've held onto over the years. Like the man said, who wants money when you can have badges?
Great video! Great music. Loved it!
