good stuff! i was hoping to learn more about the discipline itself, like what it's traditionally called? how did it develop? what are the techniques/rules to the sport? i know it's grappling but are there multiple forms, etc?? i saw that his father was wearing a japanese "gi" with a belt. what was the connection?

What a cool story. I want to know more about life in West Africa. This is such a breath of fresh air from the mainstream media's take on a continent in crisis in need of saving.
