Thank you soooooo much! It's really nice to know there are still some people with brains & common sense about this issue out there!
I used to think, that with all the talk from doctors & nurses about the importance of hearing tests and protecting our own & our children's hearing, that manufacturers in the auto / engines, stereo, TV, and other machine industries would have come up with much quieter products by now, and that companies putting on any loud entertainment would be required to operate within sound-proofed walls and to hand out fresh M - 16 earplugs to patrons who wanted them. Apparently, people in those industries are a whole lot dumber than I thought!
I really wish somebody would come up with quieter engines / mufflers for cars, motorbikes, and other vehicles. Even better yet, they should come up with engines, for all these vehicles, that are so quiet & clean that they do not NEED any mufflers -- at all! I would sooo love that! Especially since I love motorbikes -- BUT, I Hate the noises that a lot of them make, & some people hate those sounds even more than I do. Some aren't really loud enough to bother me very much, if at all. Others are really pretty annoying. Besides, I hate having to fix busted mufflers. Even just a simple patch job is usually way too expensive on our budget, and has to wait a month or two. Meanwhile, we still had to use that ride as the bus system around here still sucks (though a lousy system is still better than No bus-system).
I guess a lot of guys out there think that a loud, obnoxious Harley, or even an annoying sport-bike that sounds like a sick wasp, is somehow some sort of "Macho" thing. Apparently, some gals seem to think they like it too. To those who think it is just 'so cool', my friends and I have only ever had one thing to say about it, and it still holds true today -- "We are NOT impressed!" -- Any ape can make obnoxious farting noises -- Why put it into a machine and amplify it? -- What's so exciting about that? -- It's nothing to have an orgasm over. -- Again, thanks for that breath of fresh air, I needed that.

your breakdown is very very good, precise and clear.
though, no law nor rule will ever be more effective than true individual care.
this applies to any kind or variation of pollution.the majority, most of us do not care about the rest of us.
we, as a group, are pathetic. pollution and care are completely related.
stop by brooklyn my friend, you'll have a great noisy time. call bloomberg, he'll help you with your complaint and send over an nypd officer who will knock you off your bike and arrest you for making a very logical point and showing that to the people around you. if you are lucky, you may also enjoy 50000 volts running through your brain.
ps: i highly doubt this will make it to tv unless u redo visuals and audio, but i do not know if that was your intention.

You're blessed! I had friends that also moved to the Country side thinking they would get some peace to later find out it was full of ATV's, Boom Cars, Motorcycles and Cars with modified mufflers. I guess it does not matter where you live these days. You are not free from being harassed by a weak personality.
