    • I typically do not comment/add, but I must disagree with Tayemack upon a second viewing of this documentary after noticing it was picked for tv. My interpretation is this doc is about people preparing for an exchange of culture grounded in a solid mission, with more to come – reasoning for the interviews being in the city of where the people reside. I observe the interviews as having depth and creativity. Hoodrat is an unrelated term for anything in this video, and a tasteless and weak comment at best.

    • why aren't any of the people in the interviews, actually in Peru? This is all kind of weird. It's like a bunch of wobbly interviews and then a bunch of B-roll from someones Lima hoodrat vacation video.

    • I like the opening shots great movement… good contrast with the static interview shots. Good shots of the city.

Really well edited… (early on the cut at “life slamming together”… pulled me in really well. great) I really liked Rosa. She made a connection with me in the short time she was there.

It was a little slow in the middle, but that’s tough, it’s over 8 minutes, for an interview driven piece that’s a long time. So, I’m okay with that because of the content, others may want you to move it along faster.

The part about seniority I think pulled me out of the piece a little, the rest of that portion of the interview was so strong, that I’d considering editing that out… it made me focus on HER and not what she was saying. I realize she wasn’t being selfish, but that I had to think it over took away from what she said immediately after that. (But I’m really being picky about that)

Great piece, You got my vote.

    • I watched a few times and found more depth each time I viewed. Individual people and global communities connecting for a solid purpose, encompasses the big and small picture of humanity. I truly enjoyed this piece.

    • Daniel, this is an awesome video, it opened up my mind to the reality of connecting with others, especially on a global scale. I thought it was awesome how you mentioned that not only will you connect with the children and people in Peru, but you will be able to learn from them!
