I find the fact that there are people opening stores completely dedicated to energy drinks despicable. If they thought about it and did some research they’d know that energy drinks are more harmful then helpful. There was a 28 year old man who drank multiple energy drinks in a day and had a heart attack. So think about what could happen before you buy that drink.

Xeno:
I am sorry if I do not appreciate people overdosing on energy drinks. There are several serious side effects to over consumption of energy drinks. These side effects are elevated heart rates, hypertension, anxiety, headaches, and interrupted sleep patterns. People have died from these side effects. In fact there have been multiple reports of death caused from energy drinks mixed with alcohol. What do you think happened to that 28 year old man who had a heart attack? He may have consumed between 1,500 and 2,000 mg of caffeine. Go ahead and look up how many grams of caffeine that is. Then look up how much will kill a human being.

Everything in moderation, my energy drink hating friend.... People can also die from drinking too much water or taking too many aspirin. By the way, the last time I checked there were 1,000 mg to every gram, but thanks for the laugh.

The amount is irrelevant. Tell me what the ratio percentage of the volume of those couple grams, and then maybe I'll back off.

There always better with vodka.
But i know some people who drink several cans a day.
This must have some severe health effects. But the industry is far to big to reverse the proliferation of these insidious chemical coctails.Exercise gives you energy. Try doing some push ups and sit ups and jog on spot next time your tired after sitting infront of current for 15 hours. =P

Miss G,
The Energy Drink Outlet appreciates your curiosity, so we passed your question on to our superhero spokesperson, TEDO, for his thoughts on the subject.
...and TEDO's official response was as follows:
"Good ol' coffee has evolved and energy drinks are part of its future. Man cannot be energized off caffeine alone!"
He could not be reached for further comment, but we hope this helps to answer your question, Miss G.
Thanks for the response,
The Energy Drink OutletP.S. Stay on the lookout for our new e-commerce infotainment website being launched before Xmas!

Responses to deathloke:
deathloke - "Do you find that energy drinks carry the same violent "culture" that illegal drugs have such as murder, torture, and child prostitution?"
****We have found a wide range of many different demographic groups have been drawn to The Energy Drink Outlet, which is the message we attempted to get across in our pod about 'the energy drink culture.'
But as far as energy drinks being part of a 'violent culture' as you put it, I don't believe any energy drinks are being created that are marketed specifically towards murderers, sadists, and pedophiles. I could be wrong, but it seems like a rather small demographic and energy drinks aren't readily available in our prison system as far as I know.
deathloke - "If not do you anticipate the illicit drug culture into your business?"
****With names like "Cocaine", "Liquid Speed", "Blow", and "420", it seems as though some energy drink manufacturers have chosen to go after the 'illicit drug culture' demographic....
...and some, as a result, have found success with their mass market appeal. 'Cocaine' was one of the world's fastest, most recognized brands, until the FDA shut them down and made them remove 'the legal alternative' labeling on their can....
Here at The Energy Drink Outlet, our clientele is as culturally diverse as our energy drink selection. And while we do carry energy drinks that share the names of some illegal drugs, we have found that the energy drink market attracts all sorts of people.
We have the largest selection of energy drinks on the planet so everybody comes to us, because we have something for everyone!

Thank you for the remark, I felt like the "Energy Drink" piece needed the "dynamic" of the subject matter. Also Ryan is pretty much a high paced individual 24/7
