i want to go to burning man but i have NO NO NO NO idea how to plan for it

      Thanks for posting that. I've been two years already, '06 and '07 and I plan to go back in '10, but I'm always looking for videos like this because they fascinate me. I'll definitely check their website now. Thanks for the heads up.

    • Ha! Ha! I served in the US Navy- drug crazed Deadheads, neo-hippies and "drumming circles" with bongo drums are no match for me- extreme conditions?? sea state 5 in the North Atlantic- Buffalo in the winter- I've been there- "you can get to know them before you're camping with them..." Try getting thrown in a living compartment on a ship with 50 other guys of every race, creed, color under the sun- there, you have no choice- AND you actually have to LIVE with them- not go camping with them- I learned a lot about diversity in the service- you only go around this carousel once- so if it's Burning Man is your cup of tea- then go and have a blast!!

    • also go to myspace and tribe.net and search for burners. it's easier your first year if you meet up with people in a camp and even better if you find someone in your own area. That way you can get to know them before you're camping with them.

    • go to burningman.com and read EVERYTHING there! there is great info on first-timers and survival guides you have to know. Make sure you can survive in extreme conditions - hot and cold... and always remember YOU are a part, so contribute, participate and gift. peace.
