In 1984 the Academy Award nominated documentary, STREETWISE, revealed the stories of homeless teens living on the streets of Seattle. One of the children featured in that documentary was known as, "Little Justin", a boy who had been surviving on his own since the age of 10. Author Justin Reed Early has just published his new memoir-StreetChild, An Unpaved Passage, chronicling the years he spent as a homeless runaway.
Heath Daniels talks with Justin about the years of loneliness, abuse from his father, his escape into drugs, being arrested at 11 years old for prostitution and his recovery.
