A look back at JAW 2009! JAW or Just Add Water is a free playwrights festival that Portland Center Stage in Portland, OR puts on every year. Selected playwrights are brought out to Portland for ten days to workshop their scripts. They are each given given actors to fill the roles, a director, stage manager, a dramaturg, sound designer, and a prop master to help realize their script onstage. At the end of the ten days each play is performed for an audience.
