    • Panel...good job!!!! Covered all the points. Isn't this legislation really about medical intervention where the patient is unable to commit the act by themselves? The legislation seems, to me, to be about protecting a doctor from criminal charges. The scary part is the tiny step left where someone other than the patient makes the decision...perhaps a spouse with power of attorney? If I get an assisted suicide, does my life insurance pay off because I didn't push the plunger?

      This subject is one that doesn't seem to have a one size fits all.
