You could still be a contender! We're looking for all sorts of pods on any number of topics. Here's what you need to know:
WHAT'S A POD?
A pod is a short, non-fiction piece, 5 to 7 minutes long, that tells a unique and compelling story. From sports to politics to art to religion to comedy, we want you to create the news and information that we broadcast to the world. Because who knows better than you what you and your peers want to see?
HOW DO YOU GET A POD ON TV?
Simple - shoot, edit and upload. If people in the Current community like your pod, or if it catches the eye of a Current staff member, we will contact you to pay you and put it on television.
WHAT IS NOT A POD?
A pod is not a web cam video, a web opinion, an advertisement, a music video, or a video of you drawing a moustache on your sleeping friend.
So what are you waiting for? Be creative and be thoughtful. Be interesting and be compelling. Pick up your camera, and be a VC2 producer.
