So You Shall Reap (trailer)

IGOC (International Gathering of Champions) is a week long conference hosted yearly by KICC (ww.kicc.org.uk). The evening sessions are free and this year it is taking place in the Excel Centre Aug 23-Aug 31st 2008 in Docklands, so please feel free to see what is on offer instead of 3 secs pick and mix sessions edited together for sensationalism. Issues like the family, wealth, christianity, have been covered in previous IGOC's. you can check out sky channel 594 for some previous sessions - KICC's SKY channel (where some of the so called money i believe helps to run).

a lot of the editing done creates an effect that is not truly or wholely representative of the full picture of KICC.

As a member for over 10 years and being present at the IGOC last year, i can state that this is a case of unfair representation. if you edited only the fight scene or a horific tackle in a 95 minute match of football between Man united and Chelsea - does that make "Football the violent game" instead of the beautiful game. even if seconds later everyone was fine and the match continued with more goals.

Giving Tithes - 10% of income is common practise and biblical - Abraham in Genesis 14: 20, Jacob gave tithes, Jesus himself commended giving.

Some of these cash is to run programs like IGOC, support the ministry of the Church is involved in

The confessions made were over offerings and tithes in belief that God will help them find ways or provide wisdom to be better stewards of more finance for his kingdom.

Or when you do a favour or give to a cause, it is only natural to believe that by doing Good or planting/releasing a seed somewhere down the time, something good/better might happen to us. and that case we might be better positioned to give more next time to whatever the cause or situation in which we can offer help
There are bigger issues at hand like the fact that the Land KICC owns at the new Olympic site where have been removed has until now more than a year later they have not be given a permanent base but have to use a small building and run 7 services a day.

The good work that is being done in the community by this growing church and the positive effect of hard working and honest members in their communities and the number of teenagers who are living positive lifestyles from the church.

As a church there were issues with the Charity commision which is no secret, it's there on Wikipedia but it has to be read in context and where mistakes or oversights were made. they have all been addressed and KICC has grown as a church since then. We are now in 2008. that was over since 2005

If your that charismatic then I suppose you can get away with telling your followers you're just pissing their money away on private jets and expensive cars and they'll laugh and give you more for only a small nugget of hope.
It could be worse though, they could be like Christian Priests prior to Henry the 8th's rule. They would sell fake relics to followers with the full understanding that with one of the thousands of nails or forest of planks (from the Crucifix) not to mention toes, shoes, bones, they could forego purgatory and enter straight into heaven. Man did I laugh at this back in GCSE History.

this is not interesting. Obviously the person who posted this is ignorant but refuses to investigate and gain understanding regarding this issues.

I do not claim to know a lot about religious faiths and how they raise money (even the muslims), therefore not qualified to criticise or share my misunderstandings the way the person as.

I guess someone will see this video and actually go and find out what this is all about or keep their ignorance and misunderstandings to themselves.
