Current intrigues me yet I have a few issues with it. Chief among them is the fact that it's a creation of Al Gore, a politician, and thus I wonder who or what interests it's serving. That's not a swipe at Al Gore specifically, but rather a comment on the nature of power. Also, while the political reporting is great, it'd be nice if Current were a little more arts focused, or maybe even showed some fictional or experimental short films.
