I am here for fun, primarily.

I am a freelance writer, and I run special events/venue rental for a movie theatre chain in Austin called the Alamo Drafthouse Cinemas (voted the #1 movie theatre in the nation by Entertainment Weekly). I write and edit for two magazines, and I am currently writing a book on the making of the movie Showgirls.
