I'm not sure I could say anything that would speak more powerfully than the movies we make. That being said, I've done a lot of cool/weird/scary things in my life that probably manifest themselves in my stories somehow.

I fished in Alaska. I lived in a mud hut in Bolivia as Peace Corps volunteer for three years and I was newspaper reporter for a while, too. (Lots of crappy jobs in between) But what I do best, and what I love the most, is making movies.
