Until recently I ran a Sony VX1000, the first mini DV camera ever made 3x 1/3 ccds. But alas it died, and cost way too much to fix. So I bought a Panasonic AG-DVC 30, and I'm quite happy with it. I has 3x 1/4 inch chips, totally customizable picture, and a frame, or progressive mode. It even has a infared, or night shot mode which looks great in Black and White. We also own two Casio EX z-750's, these little cameras are amazing. We have two old school fill lights some reflectors, and a few tripods and a monopod. The monopod works just great with the casio to stabilize the the image, and you can literally put the camera anywhere you want. So, that's gear. I edit on a dell dimension with a pentium D, and Adobe Premier Elements 2.0. I make my own sound tracks.
