Ok, so I'm basically an enormous dork who likes to make fun of stuff. I'm a senior at Illinois Wesleyan University and I'm currently being buried by my thesis and grad school applications. I'm applying to Ph.D programs in Clinical Psychology, and if you've got any advice, encouragement, or horror stories I'd love to hear them!

    Current Project:
    Working on my research honors project-- From Mario to Manhunt: The Effects of Competition and Violent Content Within Video Games on Aggressive Measures. I work in my school's English Department, am I TA for one of the Psychology professors, and have worked at Pizza Hut for five years. D:

    Liberal/Democrat, even though I share some views with the least-crazy conservatives.
    What I would Change About the World:
    There would be baby animals everywhere. That would take care of anger, depression, and violence all right there if everyone could look out their window and see a baby animal frolicking around. Seriously.

    Halloween, When Harry Met Sally, Rocky Horror Picture Show, and anything with Muppets.
    Favorite Directors:
    Carpenter, Tarantino, Jim Henson
    Favorite TV Shows:
    Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Six Feet Under, Daily Show, Colbert Report, Hey Arnold!, Futurama, Lost, and most recently Heroes
    Favorite Bands:
    Reel Big Fish, The Offspring, Steetlight Manifesto, Catch-22 (old lineup), basically any band or artist from the 80s that produced epic music
    Celebrity Crush:
    Jake Gyllenhaal. I really can't help it.
