DFG Films - A unique production company

DFG Films is the production arm of the Documentary Filmmakers Group. Its aim is to help make unique and innovative documentaries, also giving opportunities to emerging filmmakers. We have recently produced documentaries for Channel 4, ITV, Five and Sky, as well as several high profile non-broadcast organisations.

Andy Glynne

Andy Glynne is the director of DFG, and founded DFG in 2001 and DFG Films in 2003. He has produced and directed numerous pieces for television including the award winning 'Animated Minds' - a series of short animated documentaries for Channel 4. In 2004, he was nominated for a Grierson Award in the "Best Newcomer" category, and continues to produce and direct films.

Lucy Baxter, Producer

Lucy has produced several short films, dramas and documentaries for broadcast on BBC2, Sky, Channel 4, Five and ITV; most recently the Five Bites and the RTS nominated Reel London series with DFG Films; and for festival and DVD release . She has also worked as a Line Producer on several feature films, and Casting Director in theatre productions. Lucy currently has a feature film, "Stamping Ground", in development and a fiction short, "Backroads", in pre-production.
