I'm not only a narrative feature film director but I produce for TV. However, CURRENT is the only channel where I can tell the stories about the people who inspire me. Award winning director Esther Bell has garnered rave reviews from The New York Times, LA Times ,and Variety for her feature films Godass and Exist. After winning numerous festival awards, Godass was acquired by Showtime and subsequently the Sundance Channel. Exist received much critical acclaim due to its incisive look into young activist's lives and has been screened in festivals around the world including the International Rotterdam Film Festival. Ms. Bell has been a guest on Oprah, Oxygen Network, and Canal Plus in France. Bell has been profiled in Film Comment, Filmmaker Magazine, Venus, Cosmopolitan, and other publications.
