Humans in the future could live in mini floating cities that drift across the Pacific as if on giant water lilies.The startling new concept has been dreamed up by Japanese technology firm Shimizu and is designed to be a way of harnessing green technologies and creating carbon-neutral cities.The Green Float concept involves a number of cells, each one kilometre wide, that house between 10,000 and 50,000 people.
