As reassuring as that GPS voice can be, you may want to turn it off next time you're trying to find your way. It may be dumbing down a region of your brain.

I only trust a GPS if I am going on a long car trip, or if I need to go somewhere I have never been at, by, or near before.

Luckily, I don't trust my GPS very much so I am always second guessing it. I average a 75% better route but sometimes my GPS actually does a better job than I can.
