Well, the fishes inspired me to search for bloggers that write about obscure and/or wall paper, as if such a thing even exists. In conclusion, i did not actually locate the origin of these fish, or bloggers that blog about wall paper. I did find a couple websites, like this one, that celebrate wallpaper. Other than that, wall paper seems to have died in the 20th century. Perhaps it is I that will bring it back. Probably not. Either way, can I hear the story of the fish wall paper? You can send it to me in a text message if you want. :J)
