The fish wall paper inspired me to search for bloggers that write about obscure and/or wall paper, as if such a thing even exists. In conclusion, i did not actually locate the origin of these fish, or bloggers that blog about wall paper. I did find a couple websites, like this one, that celebrate wallpaper. Other than that, wall paper seems to have died in the 20th century. Perhaps it is I that will bring it back. Probably not. Either way, can I hear the story of the fish wall paper? Awesome! I wish the swatches showed a little bit more of the pattern, because they were definitely images I wanted to steal for my MacBook desktop.
I've been wondering about vintage paper for awhile. I remember, when a friend got her first college apartment, she went into a wild description of the way she was planning to decorate her bedroom, right down to how she intended to locate some vintage wallpaper she'd seen in a Wes Anderson movie (yeah, right!). But that got me thinking: where do you go to even *find* something like that? Now I know. Awesome find!
