    • The one who holds the checkbook winds up being the one holding the bag on all adult responsibilities, decisions, and the accompanying associated stress while the other partner lives like your pseudo-child who eventually loses your respect...which you WILL grow to resent. Trust me on this. Marriage and the marital money should be a partnership. Just make sure each has a darn good pre-nup before taking the plunge.
