I can't believe he had the audacity to tell the world he has gay friends, yet would like to keep them....I think the term "separate but equal" had been tossed around the last hundred years or so...it fits nicely. If he's worried about taking advantage of the union of marriage for the benefits and titles then maybe he could actively start defining different levels of marriage unions, with different types of benefits for each. Let's start judging the legitimacy of all relationships... The world needs more bureaucracy...not.

      seeing someone without their own thoughts and ideas at such an age where the world is their oyster is so sad. step out of your morals, your church and your intolerance and explore the world. get cultured. if you truly have gay friends spend a week with them on a trip, dig into their lives and understand who they are. you might be surprised what you learn about yourself.
