Do lycra shorts help? What about motorbikes? Thanks for the warning, it's a dangerous world out there for my little buddy.

fyi most lines (even Brooks) also make women specific saddles. Thoguht I'd share b/c it could be equally hurtful for a women not to ride a saddle that's right or at least anatomically meant-right.

Its not really the nuts that men have a problem with if you get a good seat, its the prostate. The two best things that you can do are either spend lots of money on a really really good seat, or switch to a recumbent bike.

‹Men who take up cycling in an effort to stay fit, do their bit for the environment or avoid spiralling motoring costs, could be harming their health if they don't choose the right bicycle. That's the stark warning from consultant urological surgeon Mr Vinod Nargund from St Bartholomew's and Homerton Hospitals, London, in the urology journal BJU International.
Men who cycle a lot can also experience changes to their sperm function, because of the excessive heat generated in the pelvic area. No general link between cycling and male infertility has been established, but it is still recognised as a possible side effect and has been noted in a number of male cyclists.› - 3 years ago
