However, if you want to respond to the ads you still must do it via Craigslist. So much for having our cake.

Alot of the hoes in my area are getting flagged down by a local group, and they proudly advertise that they can get the job done with no technical experience at craigshitmen.com

Come on folks...
We have to invoke the principal of the nude beach here. The people you want to see naked are not going to be there. 65-year old ponytailed guy and his 3rd wife are. And one of them is going to offer to rub lotion on your back with a lurid smile.
What this service is going to provide is an outlet with a number of inexpensive options, but also a lot of baggage. Ordinary people don't indiscriminately fuck each other in our society. And for better or worse, when someone makes that leap over the strict social morays we Americans tend to observe, they tend to be reacting to something.
My advice? Don't use your real name, and keep a close reign on all DNA evidence.

I find this article as hillarious as I do arousing.
I want to say that online hook-ups are a step in the right direction from surfing porn sites one-handed, but who knows? At the very least, it's always interesting to see technology fuel the culture clashes concerning sexuality. From the automobile, to the condom, to the internet - parents and the older generations will always be horrified at all the new ways to "do it".

Wow, the tech geeks must be really desperate, despite all their money and status at high profile companies. Having worked as a temp at Google for 2 years, I will say they need this sort of thing...not that I condone its use or anything.

With my luck, I'd click on "directions to" and it would have one of those zip-code screw-ups, and next thing I know I'm greeted at the door by a 550 lb. dude wearing nothing but chaps & a ball gag.

I miss the days when everybody had to at least pretend to be interested in the other person to get some. Where's the love?

The internet has made hookups way to easy for the people. No wonder why STD rates are through the roof.

Okay...call me crazy but I don't understand why this is needed. Is it really that hard to find a decent person to date?
Oh...I get it...you don't want to date them.

Not to be a downer, but did we really need to bring MAPS into this? Why not just go to the next step and post each person's "hours of business?" Bring in a calendar program so we can cross-reference our schedules and make sure we have just enough time to bang to move onto the next appointment. What a devoid culture.

Lit, i think this is awesome, just need a few more little things. like if a submission on a persons profile required an STD test, and every six to idk how many months to provide updated reports, nd instead of the actual location of house (creepy) like their favorite date place. like local starbucks for me idk. just for kicks if ur 18-20 shoot me a call, the internet can have its fun side too. P.s dont just shun things away or else good things wont ever happen :D

Yet another fun tool for sex offenders.
Yea this is weird. I would tell you to try and get some help, maybe see a therapist or something, before deciding this is a great way to 'hook up.' And it's Craigslist, think about that.

You mean "potential STD" since if you were going to use a service like that it would be a matter of course to use precautions for protection.
Even then it is still hard to follow the advice of "Never goto bed with someone crazier than you are" since it is very hard to tell the depth of the instability in those kind of situations.
