Size does matter, bigger girls get more jiggy

Image
mattbrawn
According to a new research study which surveyed 7,000 women, those that are overweight get more action in the sack, proving that size really does matter!

92% of the women questioned who were overweight admitted to having got jiggy with a man, compared to 87% of "normal" sized women.

And surprisingly the results didn't differ regardless of the women's race, age or location.

"Researchers also looked at how many partners women had, how often they had sex, when they became sexually active and whether they were gay or straight. But the only difference they found was that overweight women were more likely to have slept with a man."

    • I have only had two girlfriends who were not ridiculously skinny, they were both nice but would have been a lot nicer if they where at least 15 lbs lighter.

      I like skinny chicks.

    • Yeah, only this time it's a little more laborious to spread the "you know what"! And it's a little farther to the "you know what!

But if you're into T, A, &, well, uh, the various sensations associated with gravity, or, hey, how about surfing!

      Look, it's just a little more work! That's all! Ain't nuthin"! I ain't sweatin' a little work!

Like one guy told me, "Hey, I just tell 'em I eat it on the first date! That's all I do on the first date!" I said, "Wow, you're a cunninglinguist!"

      He said, "Huh? Spell that?"

    • Fat girls are almost always on the make. What they can`t make up for in looks, they make up for in getting what they want, whenever. Having worked in an all male environment for ten`s of years, the general opinion has been to avoid the bone crushers and date a cool, sofisticated lady. Make a good thing last a long time.

None the less, there`s someone for everyone somewhere.

    • Downvoted for using the word "jiggy".

Besides that, I think maybe this is due to thinner people are viewed by society as more desirable and possibly leads them to be more selective. In addition, society tends to take advantage of heavier set women due to the fact they may have lower self-esteem which results in lower inhibitions. This could also be percieved as an attempt towards social acceptance or a way to boost their own self-esteem.

However, I can't help to think that this study is inaccurate because it bases sexual activity on body types instead of personality which would be entirely more telling and far more accurate. People have sex because they choose to, not because of their weight.

Over the past 20 years as a society we are becoming bigger and heavier. We eat more unhealthy than ever before. Our genetics are being altered.

I am a sexual creature, its in our genetic code, its why Salmon swim up stream. Just be kind, responsible and don't make a lifetime mistake- it effects us all!

I say be healthy as best you can for yourself and Love the one your with.

    • Ok. So I JUST finished learning about scientific studies in a medical information class. And basically what we learned is to be skeptical of all studies. I tried to research this study, but most of the articles don't cite the original source. After looking for a while, I found the original study in Gynecology and Obstetrics. From the abstract, they didnt conduct their own study but instead analyzing a survey. Since you have to have a subscription to the journal, it's already lost points. I don't have a subscription so I cant analyze the actual study such as how it was conducted or the details of it or see how significant the results are. Either way, I'm still skeptical.

    • Fat girls have lower standards and will sleep with almost anyone who is willing to take them home at the end of the night.

Watch a big girl work the room near closing time. They are predators and their prey is drunken men who don't know any better, until the next morning.

it might not be a nice thing to say but it is a fact.

    • Although Ive got nothing but love for the beautiful curvy women of the world (i think ladies are gorgeous regardless of size), this "study" is a load of bull. First of all its just discussing if women have EVER had sex...not how much sex they have. So to say that "bigger girls get more jiggy" makes no sense. Rather, it should be "more bigger girls have sex than average/skinny girls" or something like that. They should look at how often these women are having sex...is it everyday? once a week? a month? only once?

I also find this story ironic since theres been about a bajillion studies and articles linking exercise to increased libido in women. (duh exercise raises your testosterone levels..higher testosterone = higher sex drive). Although the story doesnt once mention that larger women have a higher sex drive, it just seems that people are drawing the conclusion that somehow body size is linked to sex drive.

    • Of course, this makes perfect sense. The FAT girls have to get it every opportunity they get. I would be surprised if they turned any of them down I have always scored 100% with the Fattys, fatness is also a sign of sloppiness/ laziness therefore if they are sloppy with their own boddy then they are likely to be sloppy with their morals as well.

On the other hand the skinny ones can get it any time they want therefore they tend to be more reserved and require a little more tact and precsion. They also tend to care more about themselves.

That's b/c "normal" sized women are more picky. ;-p

A girl with some oomph is quite sexy.

    • How ridiculously hypocritical of the Sun to print that. They push skinny girls onto the readers as sex objects everyday and then print that?
Anyway, it's a scientific fact that 'curvy' women are more attractive to most men, as they signifiy a healthy body capable of bearing children. Also an appreciation of food, and a feeling of comfort in their own skin.

    • Could it be that because they have lower self esteem, large women may look to men and sex for acceptance? Or maybe because 70% of women in America are overwiehgt, perhaps the numbers just go in their favor?

    • iokua_2003:

I doubt that very much - overweight women have a far more active libido than normal weight or skinny women, probably because of the oestrogen that is stored in fat cells and constantly released.

    • iokua_2003:

Actually Vierotchka, oestrogen isnt linked to sex drive at all, testosterone is. High oestrogen levels causes bloating and tender breasts (think about when youre premenstrual, you get bloated and achy...its because your oestrogen levels rise). So, an increase of oestrogen would just cause more bloating and swelling as opposed to a higher sex drive.

Really though, sex drive is mostly mental (I say mostly because hormone imbalances and gynecological diseases will effect your desire for sex).

Personally after I lost my adolescent weight my sex drive increased...also in general when Ive been eating healthy and getting exercise I have more energy and a higher sex drive. If all Ive done all week is sit on my butt and eat junk food, I feel sluggish and sex is the furthest thing from my mind.

    • also, taking into account they surveyed ladeez from 15-44 years old, frequently age has to do with BMI readings. younger girls would be more likely probably to have lower body fat, and also less likely to have slept with a man.

    • 110? I think sticking to a rule like that about women says so much about the person who has ideals like that. Any person at any weight regardless of "society norms" has the right to be loved.
I don't think that weight has much to do with who gets laid.

well fat girls have low self esteem; hence, they sleep with which ever guy gives them a hint of affection. and skinny girls are self conscious to the point that they struggle with bulimia and anorexia, so they don't feel comfortable in their won skin, so they don't sleep with many guys.

    • I'll be the first person to say that "curvy" (even though that a can be defined in so many ways) women are beautiful, especially when they make it a point to dress classy and take care of themselves with good personal hygiene.

However, I'd have to agree that this study probably targeted the little more than "curvy" women who are classified as overweight with very little self-esteem and feel much better about themselves after sleeping with a guy. They feel wanted, which boosts their self-esteem and masks any real issues they have with themselves.

I'm a female just speaking the truth.

      Curvy women are good-looking.

I don't know about obese though.

    • Now, as a guy, I never really cared for women whom you can see their bones... *shudders*; normal women, though, are great (being soft in all the right places).

However, I must add this one comment, and no flames here, because this can be agreed upon by many people. Being ex-military, and hell, just being a guy, there is one thing that this study doesn't say, but is "common" knowledge for guys... the 'plus' sized women are more then ready to believe anything when a guy wants to get laid.

Now now now, hold on a minute... think about it. If a person is that over-weight, their self-esteem is already low, due to media images of the thinner girls, and "oh, how will a guy ever find me attractive". If a guy is just looking to get some, this is an easy target.

Remember, don't hate me because of what I wrote, I'm just the one that revealed the truth behind the study.

I think I might have to agree with that. My sister used to be quite a bit thicker and she was always thinking that if she slept with a guy it would make them like her more because she felt bad about the extra weight she was carrying. Now she's in great shape and takes much more value in herself and is not so easy...

    • These guys are totally right! It's definately not due to the fact that fat women may have lower self esteem and feel that they need to sleep around to feel better about themselves. Also they use the term overweight. Last time I checked that term means nothing and is constantly changing definition.

      That's ridiculous.

Overweight has a very definite definition: A BMI that is over the healthy range. It's been defined as that for the past half a century.

It doesn't change like a currency exchange, it's constant depending on your height and weight.

they keep changing what the "healthy" range is to suit their motives. It was in the news a year or two ago how many professional football players were technically overweight. Now regardless of what I think of the "sport" or the players themselves, they do tend to be rather physically fit.

    • Women are constantly bombarded by images that perpetuate the ideals of superficiality and unachievable physical standards.
As a recovered anorexic and the friend of several beautiful women who have suffered from eating disorders in the pursuit of “beauty,” this study is fantastic.
Indeed, it is important for everyone to lead healthy, active lives; but, starving yourself is just as, if not more, unhealthy as those who are overweight. Kudos to any woman who can embrace and fully explore and enjoy her sexuality—regardless of her size.
