Community Round-Up: What viewers think of life in Long Beach

Getting halfway through the "4th and Forever" season means viewers have already seen Poly win big and suffer huge losses. After watching last week's episode, "Live for the Moment," fans reacted both to the Mission Viejo loss as well as Poly taking on Jordan.

Like a few players, some of the Twitter viewers blamed the coaching for the loss.

@kshantelmusttel Poly football coach you suck. If my son was on his team he wouldve been fired.

Others focused on the eventual Jackrabbits triumph.

@rebelera This show 4th & Forever puts the love for football all back in my heart again. Aye go watch

Plus, players weren't just facing problems on the field last week. Some of the Jackrabbits opened up about personal challenges and how they were handling them. Jeremiah Hollowell got a huge shock when he found out a close friend, Gary, had been killed.

Some viewers couldn't help but feel the weight of what Jeremiah's been dealing with in his life:

@MeTeeBeeEss Jeremiah is depressing. A kid, dead homies...

The depiction of Long Beach and what players say about their lives even sparked a discussion on Facebook.

What do you think? Are the Jackrabbits due for more good luck? Does Long Beach get a worse rap than it deserves?

Catch an all-new episode of "4th and Forever" Thursday at 9/8c on Current TV, and then let us know what you think.
