Community Round-Up: Viewers believe Poly Jackrabbits could be champions
As the Long Beach Poly Jackrabbits get closer to the finals games on "4th and Forever," they have proven they'll take on any team daring to best them (watch Poly defeat Lakewood in this clip). Players and viewers alike are anxious to see Poly make it to the championships.
One Facebook fan has even proposed an idea for the inevitable championship game.
Another is still wrapped in the season as a whole, encouraging other athletes to make sure they witness Poly's journey.
Poly's spirit and dedication to pulling together on the field are undeniable. In Poly’s recent triumph over Lakewood, 27-17, the Jackrabbits effectively stopped Lakewood's triumph last year from becoming a trend. Now, Lakewood besting Poly on the field is a fluke instead of a true change in Poly's history of defeating their longtime archrivals.
Like one Twitter viewer, the games highlight how difficult it is to be in leadership positions on the team.
