As the only member of the team with a child, the talented senior running back has a lot riding on this season. This year will determine if Jeremiah and his son get the “golden ticket” out of Long Beach and away from the gangs that have plagued him his entire life.

Jeremiah's savior is his mother, who pushes him to own up to his responsibilities as a father and prove himself on the football field in hopes of a college scholarship. Family, health and academic issues threaten to impact his performance throughout the season, but Jeremiah must continue to establish himself as a key player for the team despite the challenges he faces on and off the field.
