A new poll shows less than half of Republicans are smarter than a 5th grader. They actually believe the President of the United States is not a citizen of the United States. Funny, this has never been an issue with any other president in the past - what could possible be different with our current President? Some how this president figured out a way not only to skirt Section 1 of Article Two of the United States Constitution sets forth the eligibility requirements for serving as President of the United States:
“No Person except a natural born Citizen, or a Citizen of the United States, at the time of the Adoption of this Constitution, shall be eligible to the Office of President; neither shall any Person be eligible to that Office who shall not have attained to the Age of thirty five Years, and been fourteen Years a Resident within the United States.”
But get passed the mass scrutiny of the entire Republican party and his Democratic opposition during not only this campaign but his previous political career. Keep in mind President Obama started his political career in Chicago. There is little doubt if anyone could have found a way to derail him using such a simple requirement they surely would have long before now. Just think about it - you don't think some folks have attempted to move heaven and earth in racking their myopic brains trying figure out how to stop the first non-white person from becoming President of the United States?
