You may or may not be familiar with the IDONTGOTO University jumpers that looked and felt like real university style sweatshirts but didn't actually come from any university. This is like THE original ironic tee design. Anyways, Andrew Wadsworth came up with the legendary design in 1978 after failing to make it in to Uni. Armed only with a packet of Letraset and a small mail order ad in Private Eye, he soon found his mail order business booming and made tons of money from selling tees and jumpers. Love it!

Fantastic story for today - when thousands of people may end up disappointed, dispirited and without a place at uni. He goes to show people with good ideas, and a good sense of humour can do well without this institution.
