Where is the list of the retailers of these products?
I would boycott stores which carry these products if I knew.
Uh, would Wall Mart be on that list? - 2 years ago

GoodGodGuy:
Every one of them! It's their corporate policy to bypass USA made goods for foreign made instead. Look at the bath towels- made in Thailand, Pakistan, India, and Brazil! You won't find any made in High Point, North Carolina!

"It's worse than I would have thought', she mulled, as she gingerly placed a Chinese made "Tickle Me Elmo" doll into her cart." :) Go into WalMart, you will not be able to find a towel, set of bedsheets, blanket, can opener, stereo, pair of jeans or toaster made in the USA. WalMart has deliberately decided against doing business with American manufacturers, and buys their goods from China. I'd rather go to a surplus store back home, and buy a pair of Pointer brand bluejeans, made in Tennessee, than going to WalMart and buying a pair of Levis made in Mexico or China! Try buying a pair of sneakers made in the USA- good luck!

Great Job getting this list out. Thanks to all that are aiding in ending slavery. Lets get the name of the companies out so we can stop this. We must also come up with away for these families to make money. Love and Peace!

Wow a long awaited report child labor and forced labor. Oh shit , youmean this is not about USA. I mean i"m trying really hard not to get pissed off. why is allthe interest outside of the US borders. Products not USA buy USA , who the hells buying all these not made in USA products , God now I can't buy anything unless it's ibn a thrift store.. and lon and behold guess who's working there, some poor unfortunate who goes to sal. ary. and gets to volunteer selling donated free things for a price , no wonder I'm trippin.

"..finding out what companies source problem products from problem countries and ship them to the U.S"
thats what i want to know mostly. we are just as much of the problem as any if we let u.s. companies do this.

The next step should be for every company on the list to be closed down

The article seems to lack an actual link. For those wanting to see the report there is a PDF link on this page which also describes the law that made it possible. It's kind of small and in the center of the copy, but it's there.
http://www.dol.gov/ILAB/programs/ocft/tvpra.htm#lgcThere are other ILAB reports on this page going back to 1996
http://www.dol.gov/ilab/media/reports/iclp/main.htmI'm going to add a news link here. It happened sufficiently recently, it's an act of government an has wide ranging implications.
