See few lines below from the poem--->
Falling in love …
Is what I can sense it out..
But falling is what scares me, lord..
So please make us RISE in love.
Together, in happiness and grief.

Yeah, I'm all up for a poem about love, but there's that "god" thing again. It sounds more like a prayer.

What I really meant to say, was that it's good you're writing poetry, it's just that anything to do with god puts me off. I used to write poems (or poem-songs) when I had a certain someone to inspire me. I went through a phase of several years where this girl I was in love with created turmoil in my mind which needed to be "poemised". I have a nice little collection of hand written poems to remind me of what I was going through. Looking back, they were crazy times.
Keep writing, Vivek, whether or not anyone thinks what you write is any good, just keep writing. It's good for the soul.

Now this is one really good advice and you very rightly pin-pointed that "It's good for the soul", and i.e. exactly what I feel after writing. My soul feel so much relieved on sharing what I feel and that feeling is multiplied to rejoice when I see people respond to my posts after reading.
While reading the responses to what I wrote, I get to know a new point of view, which is not mine and that helps me a lot in thinking from the different angle, and makes me understand the discussion better like you mentioned about the God.
I appreciate your words, thanks. - 2 years ago

I'm happy you appreciate my words, I don't think many others do =p I don't always say the "correct" things.
Anyway, nice talking to you, Vivek.
