Interview with Ray Bradbury

booksellergirl
The graphic novel for "Fahrenheit 451" was just released and it's pretty good. I had forgotten how exciting the story was and it's amazing how relevant the book still seems. The most interesting part of the book for me was the introduction by Bradbury himself. He reminds us that he wrote that book 50 years ago! It's a bit hard to remember what one was think from a half a century in the past.

    • Very cool.

There's currently a Fahrenheit 451 movie that's in development hell. Last I heard, Frank Darabont was supposed to direct it.

    • I am even now in the middle of "Moving Mars" by Greg Bear,....dedicated to Ray Bradbury. A "wild passionate explosive" personal romantic and literary love would seem to bind and transcend generations,...time,....worlds,...from Wells to Burroughs to Bradbury to Bear. I sure as hell hope for those continuing the traditions the same love of family and life's mysteries. I bet they will.
