68-year-old South Korean Cha Sa-soon finally passed her test after over four years of trying. The grandmother reportedly spent over 5m won (£2600, $4,200) on test fees.
However, she's still not on the road. Before she can get behind the wheel and take her car for a spin, Sa-soon must first pass a practical test.

It's never too late. This woman is an inspiration for me to procrastinate, as I'll be able to achieve things that I should have done in my 20s, instead in my late 60s.

Well if you took the time to read the first few sentences you'd find out!
'The grandmother reportedly spent over 5m won (£2600, $4,200) on test fees. '

As a Korean, I respect her achievement.
The reason of she might not family with Korean character & its theory might feel hard to her.
As me, who transferred driving licence from Korean to UK one, theory test was a piece of a cake. However, she is old and working so it's the reason why she felt hard for her process.I wish she deals with further two driving tests. (One is on simulated road. After then the task undertakes on real road)

i'm not racist or sexist, but asian women are the worst drivers of all time. it's a scientific fact. anyone who has to sit on a phone book to drive should be on the bus. i think it's because they are dumb or something. but i'm not sexist, or racist.

How can that be right, if she's spent 4 years trying then that means she must have been taking a test every other day. Plus that makes the cost of a a single test really cheap

Wait hang on, does that mean she's just passed a theory test? After a couple of hundred goes you would have thought she would be able to remember all the questions and answers?
Still at least the practical test should be fun, is South Korea more strict on driving tests than say the UK?
