I would argue that Cold War Kids have been creating buzz ever since the release of their first work, The Mulberry Street EP, featuring Quiet Please, which appeared on the OC Weekly compilation CD "The Real, Real, REAL OC", a free album put out in the paper's November 2005 Feedback issue.

I would have to agree...I found out about The Mulberry Street EP via rcrdlbl.com around that time, and I still think it's their best stuff.
