Paul Brandus, of the West Wing Report, weighs in with Bill about Washington’s continued inaction when it comes to more gun control legislation. Brandus notes that employment in the firearms industry is up 30 percent: “While the rest of the country may be struggling, the gun industry is doing pretty good.” Bill stresses that “it is possible to stand up to the NRA and still win an election.” However, Brandus observes that the president could not get any legislation passed about gun control “with this Congress.”
