The Hill filled to the brim with filibusters

Senator Tom Harkin (D-Iowa) says the Senate has “changed for the worst” during his many years in office because “we just don’t do anything.” Sen. Harkin blames the rampant use of filibustering in congress today on the lack of accomplishment. Bill adds that Sen. Harry Reid has also “reached the end of his patience” with the matter. Sen. Harkin has some suggestions for how legislation can be moved and he says, “it would lend itself to compromise.”
