I agree with the comments about nintendo going the wrong way for 'serious gamers' but now there is a lot more competition, nintendo need to find something new to create, and they have found it, But for 'a step' it is pretty expensive.

That was hilarious. I've used it once and it is a lot of fun, but I consider myself a little too lazy to use it that often.

Best Tech Report ever! Usually I think Ben is too borring and dry, even by sarcasm standards, but this week he opened my eyes.
The Wii Fit looks like fun. If it takes a video game to get some people moving, then it's better than another Grand Theft Auto rotting their brains.

Water, and pee for that matter, weigh a lot. This is Ben's secret weight loss weapon.

As a hardcore gamer and once-lover of Nintendo, I can't stand the direction the Wii is going. Sure it will get featured on the news a few times as an oddity or as a novelty but in reality it is doing nothing new, nothing creative and nothing interesting.

I feel the same way... the other day Itried to play with one of those Wii controllers and I was like "WTF this thing is so hard to use!"
I'll take my old NES, SNES, or N64 over the Wii any day...

How silly. If anyone is doing real exercising, this little pad just doesn't make sense. I do yoga. Balance by using my mind control, body control, etc. is the ultimate objective. This little pad takes all the spirit out of it. Get over it America - let's show we can do "stuff" without directives.

"I hear yoga does amazing things for people who incessantly glorify yoga" - unknown. . .
Perhaps if the Wii Board was popularized as a snowboarding game you might see it differently? I don't know but, it looks better than just sitting & pressing buttons. Don't hate.
