Comedy Done Right

In a world full of "liberal" news media and "liberal" news satire, Republicans want to laugh too! In a way that is both funny and conservative! And that's pretty hard to find!

infoMania is a half-hour satirical news show that airs on Current TV. The show puts a comedic spin on the 24-hour chaos and information overload brought about by the constant bombardment of the media. Hosted by Conor Knighton and co-starring Brett Erlich, Sarah Haskins, Ben Hoffman, and Sergio Cilli, the show airs on Thursdays at 10 pm Eastern and Pacific Times and can be found online at current.com/infomania.

    • one reason why people watch the daily show is because 90% of the time the guest is a specialist on an important political subject and they are there to discuss the book they've written about it.
      most of the people you see on cnn or fox are just talking heads who don't really know what they're talking about on issues like the economy problems or the facts on the war.

      sure jon stuart makes a joke out of it all but its the only thing that keeps alot of the country from being depressed about how fucked up politics and government has become.

So they get to decide what's funny. Maybe that's why Conservatives command the radio. Republicans need something to listen to while we go save the world instead of sitting on our azz's with our hands out.

      Interested in what you consider "skinny ass white boys" to be. Rupert Murdoch owns easily the far right piece of shit "news" corporation on this planet and he could easily fit under that description judging from how general you like to be.

      You need to be smart and insightful in order to do good comedy --- Republicans are generally neither and it reflects in their comedy.

      Republican comedians are about as subtle as a sledgehammer.

      "Barack Obama was at 9/11 to pay tribute to....the terrorists!"

      Subtle! And we didn't see that punchline coming a mile away either!

      Their mentality, their politics, their comedy all seem stuck in the 8th grade.

      Imagine a jock walking up behind someone and knocking their books out of their hands and then laughing hysterically as they walk away....that's about the level these Conservative comedians operate at.
