Tech Report: Wario

The infoMania Tech Report is a weekly segment where technology guru Ben Hoffman takes a look at the newest tech products, gadgets and video games. It has been called “the funniest tech show on the web.” (No source for that quote is available at this time. In fact, there’s a good chance it was made up.)
infoMania is a half-hour satirical news show that airs on Current TV. The show puts a comedic spin on the 24-hour chaos and information overload brought about by the constant bombardment of the media. Hosted by Conor Knighton and co-starring Brett Erlich, Sarah Haskins, Ben Hoffman, and Sergio Cilli, the show airs on Thursdays at 10 pm Eastern and Pacific Times and can be found online at current.com/infomania.

ChristmasAsen:
you are sorely mistaken if you think ANY smash bros. tournament in history has ever had people never play to practice before the game.
everyone enters a competition to win.even when there was the first smash bros. brawl tournament, people had racked up weeks of practice with the japanese game, no newbies won that competition for the crystal wii and trip to new york.
people in this tournament had the chance to purchase the game in stores a week before the event took place; everyone had the chance to buy it.
i don't even know the guy but i can see why he practiced to win... and look what it got him--a $1000 gift card and trip to new york for two plus other goodies. (:
*spits* such jealousyyyy.

omg he imported the game for 60 bucks omg he is seriously doing anything for money.
a thousand bucks is probably more than you make in a year anyway plus a vacation.
$60 < $1000
super greedy, i would rather win the money, too. - 3 years ago

Wow, you've made yourself out to be a complete moron on here. Nice work, dumb ass.
From following this story on Kotaku... It seems the winner broke a nation-wide record at an event, and now he cheated because he PRACTICED?

Okay Ben rocks! This story had guts, it had bravado, it had feeling, it had sentiment and tension - it was, in a word, - perfect. I must have that game.
