I almost went to that chili cook-off she sang at. Some of my friends went, but I didn't. Boo hoo, guess I missed being where all the action was. :-)

there is nothing wrong with her putting on weight but her jeans are so nasty. what was she thinking.

To alot of people this is not fat. Including me. Face it we as a world are to obssessed with weight in general if you think of it in a scientific since if we diudn't even have light we couldn't see that she looks bigger than she once did.

Those entertainment shows are horrible. This is why women end up starving themselves for no reason. These people need a good, old fashioned punch in the breadbasket.

The treatment of Simpson shown in the clip is cruel, and reveals more about the warped character of the attackers than about the figure of Ms. Jessica. One shouldn't prolong the foolishness. However, once the issue is out there, it has to be challenged.

Why? Liking or disliking the way Simpson looks is a matter of individual taste. But dumping on Simpson for being "fat" is a matter that affects us all. Yes, obesity is a health risk. But eating disorders are an even greater health risk. And teaching girls and women to obsess about their weight hurts millions and helps only the companies that feed (sic!) on their anxiety.

BTW, last research I read about showed that straight men like looking at pictures of scrawny models, but they prefer snuggling with women who have all-over curves.
